How To Handle Tough Questions in a Media Interview

anxious: 불안한
awkward: (기분이) 어색한
It’s perfectly natural to feel anxious or nervous about facing the media and being put on a spot with an awkward or potentially negative question.
dodge (something): 기피(회피)하다
But you can’t dodge it.
evasive: 얼버무리는
If you say no comment or I’m not answering that, then you come across as being defensive or evasive.
address (something): ~을(를) 연설하다
So you really should address the tough question.
anticipate: 예상하다
You can anticipate much of the subject matter you’ll be asked about.
hard-hitting: 직설적인
And when the hard-hitting question arrives you build a verbal bridge acknowledging the point of the question, why it’s relevant.
